Protective Styles Challenge 2011-2012 Ends

The protective style challenge is now over once again. With the warmer weather moving in what hair styles are you planning on sporting? Here’s a few of my own favorite hair styles:

A few other ideas are:

braid out
bantu knot out
curl rod set
classic puff

Please also remember that just because the warmer weather has arrived that you should give up protective styles completed. The Spring and Summer are still a great time to wear them. Be sure to protect your hair at night when you sleep to prevent knots, tangles, and breakage. Also when swimming two-strand twists, buns, and plaits are your very best friends! Enjoy the warmer weather ladies, and enjoy longer healthier hair!

Protective Style #4: Mini Twists

This month I decided to wear my hair in a protective style that would last for the entire month. This style is interchangeable as well. Use your imagination when styling your mini-twist. You can wear them pinned up, in a pony tail, curl if set with curl rods, etc. Also, be sure to enter this months Protective Style challenge giveaway being held on our facebook fan page, and have fun!
