Protective Styles Are Near…
Written by Samara on November 23, 2010The time is approaching to start utilizing your protective styles once again. What is a protective style? For those of you whom don’t know and are new to the site, a protective style is a style that will protect the hair from breakage because it is low maintenance. Leaving the hair alone with low manipulation is the best medicine for longer, healthier hair!
Here are some example of a few protective styles:
- hair buns
- plaits
- cornrows
- two-strand twists
- flat twists
Protective styles do not have to be boring and/or ugly. You can still have fun with your hair during the cold season such as pinning up your twist in intricate styles or creating elaborate buns(if your hair is long enough). It’s all up to you. I have so much in store for you this winter season to help you keep your crown of glory packed with moisture, well conditioned, and protected. Follow me and I guarantee you will grow about 3 inches of new growth by the beginning of Spring.
Stay tuned!
