Hair Therapy Wrap Review: My New Love

Written by Samara on April 29, 2011

The Hair Therapy Wrap is my new found love. I absolutely love this invention. It deep conditions my hair evenly and nicely for about 30 minutes to an hour and I can do things around the house while I am deep conditioning. No more sitting under a sweltering hot hooded dryer for me!

    Hey Samara,

Is there another way to warm it? I don’t own a microwave for health reasons. It does look like a great product!

@Alexx: I’ve used one of these for about a year now and I don’t use a microwave to heat the gel packs (I used to but I always ended up with hot spots in the gel packs). Anyway, I use boiling water to heat the gel packs. Basically, I just take a pot of water and bring it to a rolling boil on the stove. I add the gel packs and remove pot from heat. Allow the packs to sit for a minute or two (until heated). Be careful removing the gel packs as they will be HOT! Replace packs into wrap and apply to hair. That’s it. If the packs are too hot for you you can let them cool for a bit before putting the wrap on. I hope this helps. :-)

    Well said Shea! :)
