Okay..thanks...I've always suffered from dry itchy scalp and that's why I was greasing it. I do have Jojoba oil and will try that...Thanks again!!!

I don't recommend greasing of the scalp, but if you must, may I suggest jojoba oil instead. It is the best thing to use because it is similar to the natural oils secreted from the scalp. Also you could have scab hair in certain sections, if the hair is unresponsive and looks to be a totally different texture. i suffered from this as well. Most of my scab hair was on both sides of my hair and it was wiry, rough and dry. Hope this helps!

Greeting from NC!!!
How are you? I really appreciate your tips and knowledge on how to take care of natural hair. I haven't started to co-wash but I will because I am experiencing dryness in certain sections of my hair..I did the big chop a month ago after my 5 month transition but I'm a fan of wearing my hair in the twist out style, I can see dryness in some sections...I think it is due to the leave in conditioner I am using..."Mixed Chicks"..but I don't know how to keep the hair soft?? I use coconut oil, shea butter, I grease my scalp with Castro oil. I will try the co-wash method to see how this works...

Thanks again for your blog and videos...I've been watching you and another young lady prettydimples01 on you tube...you guys are great!!

Have a good evening...
