I love the Kinky Curly Knot Today Leave-In Conditioner with a passion! I use it with or without the Curly Custard which I will review later. This product is light weight, it leaves my hair soft and conditioned, and it smells so good! My hair is always more manageable after using this product. I must also mention that Kinky-Curly Knot Today is an all natural product, so if you’re health conscience about chemicals used in your hair products, health products, etc. like I am, then this product is perfect for you.
I usually wash my hair with a sulfate free shampoo before using the Kinky Curly conditioner. I then squeeze the excess water from my hair instead of using a towel to prevent frizz and apply this conditioner throughout my hair. My hair is instantly detangled and softer. Kinky Curly was right when they suggested to use this product before using the Curly Custard because it does make a difference in the level of curl definition.
This product does not take the place of a deep conditioner which should be used at least once a week, but it is an excellent leave in conditioner/detangler for all those other times when your life doesn’t permit the time to sit under a dryer for 30 minutes.
