Refreshing Your Gel Defined Curls [Video]

Written by Samara on February 25, 2010

This is just a follow up video about how I refreshed the finger styled gel look I created in the previous entry. I used a shea butter mixture I made and the Curls Euphoria Elixir to refresh my style. You can use any type of good moisturizer and or hair gloss to refresh your curls. Also, a great plus is my hair has lasted a total of 6 days, still looking great as ever. It’s getting a bit frizzy in certain areas, but it still looks great. This style can be worn for up to 5-7 days before you have to cleanse, condition, and restyle. It’s also a great protective style as well!

First and foremost, thank you for your wealth of information. You’ve helped me regrow my hair 5-6 inches already by simply keeping my hair moisturized, cleansed and better conditioned with your great product recommendations!! I’m a lifetime member of your club Samara!!! God Bless you and thank you again!!!!

1 question, can I use my Coconut Sublime Conditioner as a leave-in also? Thanks.

I have never used it as a leave-in before. A better option to use is the Curls Milkshake as your leave-in(I use this and love it). I’ve also heard that some women have used the Curls Ecstasy Hair Tea by Curls as a Leave-in to make their curls “pop”. I’ve never tried that either, but you can try it if you like and see if it works for you.
