Ultra Black Hair Lotion Creme Moisturizer/Dew Product Review A 2nd Look

I used this product for about 3 months  and I have some complaining to do. I’ve even removed it from my recommendations based on what has happened as a result of using it. It moisturized my hair nicely, but after using it for a while it seemed to have some negative effects on my hair.

Note: I still continue to use the Organic Root Stimulator Carrot Oil with excellent results.

I used the Ultra Black Hair dew as well as the lotion creme on my son’s hair and to my surprise this product has retexturized his hair! My 15 month old son had soft curls, but now his hair has been dried out from the use of this product(mainly the dew) and it is drier and kinkier! His hair only goes back to the soft curls when it is damp and I am in the process of trying to repair that!

My hair however seemed to have gotten a bit thinner and I experienced a lot of hair shedding. I stopped using this product and within a month guess what? My hair isn’t shedding any longer! My hair is now back to it’s original thickness. I don’t know if anyone else has had the same results, but this product is not for everyone.

I won’t be recommending this product for use in African American hair any longer, but I will continue to encourage everyone to read her book. It is informative unless you rather use my site for free. Her hair tips are great, but her products as expensive as they are are not worth the money you pay for them.
